Steve Willis, Chief Landscape Designer
Steve is a qualified Sydney landscape designer, horticulturist and permaculturist with a passion for healthy and nutritious cuisine. Steve operates the Urban GreenSpace business from Sydney's Northern Beaches, Australia.
When Steve Willis started Urban GreenSpace in 2010, he worked with restaurants and kitchens to help them establish sustainable herb and vegetable gardens. Since then he has worked with pubs, local councils, schools and private residents to help them grow food, community and skills as well as obtain government grants.
Steve takes a regenerative approach to landscape design in the Sydney area, rehabilitating the cycles of nature through topsoil regeneration, increasing biodiversity and organic gardening practices.
Steve Willis is a member of the Australian Institute of Landscape Designers and Managers (AILDM). AILDM is Australia’s leading professional association for qualified Landscape Designers and Management Professionals. AILDM regulates the profession and ensures that only qualified, experienced and ethical professionals practice in this area. Emily Willis, General Manager
Emily is a qualified permaculturist, artist and creative, with a passion for innovation, upcycling and regenerative landscape design. With more than 20 years in business leadership roles, including online publishing, strategy planning, advertising, marketing and content production, Emily runs the operational and marketing side of Urban GreenSpace.
Together and through our Sydney landscape design services, we are passionate about getting people out into their beautiful productive gardens, growing nutritious food and increasing local biodiversity. We work with our clients to deliver a landscape design that looks great and fits their lifestyle.
We live on a finite planet, one limited in resources. We do all we can to minimise our environmental impact during all phases of a project. We also aim to help our clients minimise theirs through recycling, composting and regeneration.
