Food critics Jill Dupleix and Terry Durack wanted a miniature garden for their inner-city apartment.
We designed a low and lush indoor miniature fernery
Jill and Terry approached Steve to design an indoor planting, to revive a small space using low light plants in their inner-city apartment. Their existing garden was overgrown and obscured their ocean view. The planting also had to be low maintenance.
We designed a low and lush miniature fernery, inspired by nature. Mounds were created to add height and depth, with mosses acting as ground covers. We used different species of ferns to add texture and play with concepts of scale and perspective.

Steve had the patience of a saint during the landscape design of Forestville Farm. There were quite a few random "new ideas" I threw at him, but he always made it work.
